Şükrü Erdem, the president of Building Inspection Authorities Branch Office in Adana, noted that the quality of ready-mixed concrete and thus concrete is open to question and there is a necessity to inspect all over the process, especially the building materials, in order to construct a sustainable, secure and safe building. |
| Abdullah Bakır, the president of Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers Branch Office in Adana, asked for inspecting also of the buildings constructed by public revenue. Ferruh Karakule, Secretary General of Turkish Ready Mixed Concrete Association, made a presentation on “The G-Quality Sign in Concrete”, Tümer Akakın talked about delivery, laying, curing, sampling from fresh concrete and its evaluation, Prof. Asım Yeğinobalı from Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association presented “The Factors Effecting Internal Structure of Concrete and Durability and Resistance of Concrete”, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tokyay talked on “Mineral Admixtures in Concrete”, Yavuz E. Şahin from Concrete Admixtures Manufacturers’ Association, “Chemical Admixtures in Concrete”, Teoman Çelenk from the General Directorate of Construction Works of Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, enlightened participants on “Developments Related to Building Inspection”. |
