A Concrete-Design for a Library built up in Turkeybuild

| Construction Products Producers’ Federation (YUF) participated Istanbul International Turkeybuild has prepared a special stand with the concept of “Library in the form of concrete”. YUF, professionally, technically, economically and socially guiding at the stage of production and consumption phase the companies manufacturing concrete based building materials, associations and individuals, also aiming at information exchange, met visitors at the stand. The layout of the library provided visitors direct contact with the information as if they are in a real library environment. |
| While having a chance to communicate with others one to one in the Library designed and mounted by patterned and three-dimensional concrete surface panels together with white benches and sitting places produced by fiber concrete also enabled visitors to consult and rest. The Library formed its surface by modular concrete panels, publications of the Federation members and Betonart magazine are displayed at the shelves designed as orange niche. The stand is produced by the organization of Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association (TÇMB).The design work is by PAB Architectural Design Office. The patterned and textured elastic blocks of Reckl Company is implemented on the stand and erected by 7tepe Architects, concrete panels production is undertaken by Construction Center. The production process of the stand is implemented by the cooperation of expert companies on concrete materials. |
